Richard “Rich” Balot founded ABC Phones, now known as Victra, in October 1996 as a freshman in college. Under his leadership, the company has grown from one location to over 1500 Verizon locations in all 50 States, over 300 Total Wireless locations, and over $3 Billion in revenue.
Rich is an active member of YPO, President of John Paul II Catholic High School, and a serial entrepreneur with multiple other smaller businesses. Rich was the 2024 Ernst and Young Southeast US Entrepreneur of the Year. He is an East Carolina University Alumnus where he also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Rich is married to his wife Colleen of 23 years, has four children, and four dogs. He enjoys spending time with his family; watching his children play sports, fishing, and traveling the world.
